Ingredients

  • 6 oz sweet red wine, such as Moscato
  • 1 cup frozen mixed berries (raspberry, blueberry, and blackberry)
  • 3 oz ginger ale

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the frozen mixed berries and sweet red wine. Blend until the fruit is finely pureed.
  2. Add the ginger ale to the blender and pulse carefully to mix the fruit, wine, and soda.
  3. Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve to remove the berry seeds, using a spatula to push the mixture through. Discard the seeds.
  4. Pour the mixture into a 9x13-inch freezer-safe dish and freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight.
  5. Once frozen, use an ice cream scoop to scrape the mixture into frozen granules and fill a wine glass.
  6. Garnish with fresh berries and serve.
