A delightful twist on the classic Whiskey Sour with Evan Williams Single Barrel Bourbon, lemon juice, simple syrup, and a delicate spray of Angostura bitters topped with creamy foam.

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces Evan Williams Single Barrel Bourbon
  • 3/4 ounce lemon juice
  • 3/4 ounce simple syrup (equal parts sugar and water)
  • 1 small egg white
  • 1 spray Angostura bitters
  • Ice

Instructions

  1. In a mixing tin, combine the egg white and lemon juice, then dry shake.
  2. Add the bourbon and simple syrup to the tin.
  3. Add 5 Kold Draft ice cubes and shake vigorously 20 times.
  4. Double strain the mixture over ice into a rocks glass.
  5. Allow the egg white foam to separate and then gently spray Angostura bitters on top of the foam.
  6. Express a lemon peel over the glass and garnish with the peel and a brandied cherry.
