Ingredients

  • Margarita salt
  • 2.50 oz 100% bottled carrot juice
  • 1.50 oz tequila blanco
  • 0.50 oz fresh lime juice
  • 0.75 oz ginger liqueur (such as Domaine De Canton or ginger syrup)
  • Carrot tops for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place salt in a shallow dish.
  2. Dip the rim of a rocks glass in water (or run a lime wedge around rim) then lightly dip the rim in salt; fill with ice.
  3. Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice.
  4. Add carrot juice, tequila, ginger liqueur (or syrup), and lime juice to the shaker.
  5. Secure the lid and shake vigorously until thoroughly chilled.
  6. Strain the margarita into the prepared glass and garnish with carrot tops.
