Ingredients

  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/4 cup half & half
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • a pinch of ground cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream

Instructions

  1. In a pot, combine the egg, sugar, and half & half over low heat.
  2. Whisk the mixture continuously, heating it to 150°F (66°C) for about 25 minutes.
  3. Once the desired temperature is reached, add the spices, vanilla extract, and heavy whipping cream. Stir to combine.
