Ingredients

  • 1 green tea bag
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon frozen orange juice concentrate
  • 1 tablespoon frozen lemonade concentrate
  • 1 tablespoon brandy
  • 1 tablespoon whiskey
  • 2 fl oz lemon-lime soda, chilled
  • Optional: Cranberries and citrus slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place the green tea bag in a 1-cup glass measuring cup. Add boiling water and steep for 3-5 minutes. Remove the tea bag and let the tea cool slightly.
  2. In a large bowl, combine 1 cup water and sugar. Bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve the sugar. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  3. Stir in the orange juice concentrate, lemonade concentrate, brandy, whiskey, and cooled tea.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a freezer-safe container, leaving space for expansion. Freeze for at least 12 hours.
  5. To serve, scoop 1/2 cup of the slush into a glass and top with 1/2 cup of chilled soda.
  6. Optionally, garnish with cranberries and citrus slices.
