Ingredients
- 3 ounces bourbon
- 4 to 6 sprigs of fresh mint leaves
- Granulated sugar to taste or 1/2 oz simple syrup
- Mint sprig for garnish
Instructions
- In a tall glass, add the mint leaves, sugar or simple syrup, and a little crushed ice.
- Pour in the bourbon.
- Top it off with more crushed or shaved ice.
- Stir well until frost forms on the glass.
- Optionally, muddle the mint and sugar (or simple syrup) to release the mint flavor.
- Garnish with a mint sprig and serve.
