Ingredients

  • Ice
  • 1.50 ounces dark or aged rum
  • 1.50 ounces shiraz or cabernet shiraz blend
  • 0.50 ounces freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 0.25 ounces agave nectar
  • 1 dash Angostura bitters (optional)
  • Ginger beer

Instructions

  1. Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice.
  2. Add the dark or aged rum, shiraz or cabernet shiraz blend, lime juice, agave nectar, and bitters if desired.
  3. Shake well.
  4. Strain into an ice-filled Collins glass.
  5. Top off with ginger beer.
