Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
  • Pinch of fine sea salt
  • 2 oz. dark rum
  • 3/4 cup hot water
  • Cinnamon stick (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the room temperature butter, brown sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt until well mixed.
  2. Place 2 tablespoons of the spice batter into a mug.
  3. Add 2 oz. of dark rum to the mug.
