Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter (room temperature)
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/8 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 2 oz. dark rum
- 3/4 cup hot water
- Cinnamon stick (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine room temperature butter, brown sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt.
- Use an electric hand mixer to beat the ingredients together until well combined, scraping the sides of the bowl as needed.
- For one serving, add 2 tablespoons of the spice batter to a mug.
- Pour in 2 oz of dark rum and top with 3/4 cup hot water.
- Stir until well combined.
