Ingredients

  • 1/3 orange, chopped
  • 1/3 pear, chopped
  • 1/3 lemon, 1/2 juiced
  • 1/2 cup red berries, chopped (strawberries and cherries)
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ice
  • 5 oz light red wine
  • 1 1/2 oz Spanish brandy
  • 1/2 cup sparkling water

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the chopped fruit, sugar, and cinnamon, stirring to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or preferably overnight.
  2. Fill a large jug with ice.
  3. Stir the macerated fruit mixture, ensuring the sugar is dissolved, then pour into the jug with the wine and brandy.
