Ingredients

  • 1.50 oz aged Jamaican rum
  • 0.50 oz fresh lime juice
  • 3/8 oz rich demerara syrup (2:1)
  • 1/4 oz allspice liqueur
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters
  • 1 cup crushed ice
  • 4-6 ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Combine aged Jamaican rum, fresh lime juice, rich demerara syrup, allspice liqueur, and Angostura bitters in a blender.
  2. Add crushed ice and ice cubes to the blender.
  3. Blend for 3-4 seconds until the mixture is slushy.
  4. Strain the liquid and slushy ice into a Collins glass, holding back the larger ice chunks with a strainer.
  5. Garnish as desired.
