Vegan Spirit Spice
A creamy and indulgent vegan twist on the holiday classic eggnog, perfect for those with lactose intolerance or following a vegan lifestyle.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup non-dairy milk of choice
- 2 tbsp full-fat coconut milk
- 1 tsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp brown sugar (or coconut sugar)
- 1/8 tsp nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp cardamom
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 oz bourbon or rum
- whipped cream
- sprinkle of cinnamon
Instructions
- In a high-speed blender, combine the non-dairy milk, coconut milk, maple syrup, brown sugar, nutmeg, cardamom, cinnamon, and vanilla extract.
- Blend on high speed for 1-2 minutes until the eggnog is smooth.
- Taste the eggnog and adjust the spices and sweetness as necessary.
- Transfer the eggnog to a glass jar and refrigerate for up to 4 days.
- For a boozy option, add 1 ounce of bourbon or rum to the eggnog before serving.
