Ingredients

  • 1.50 tsp sugar
  • 0.30 oz Irish whiskey (miniature bottle)
  • 1/2 green apple
  • 1 peach
  • 2 mint leaves
  • 5 oz white wine (e.g. moscato)
  • 2 oz soda water, to serve

Instructions

  1. In a jug, mix the sugar and whiskey along with a small amount of wine to help the sugar dissolve.
  2. Thinly slice the apple and peach and roughly chop the mint, then add them to the jug.
  3. Top up the jug with the remaining wine and chill it for at least an hour or overnight.
  4. When ready to serve, spoon some of the fruit into a glass, filling it about 3/4 full with the wine blend and then topping it up with soda water.
  5. Adjust the sugar according to your wine preference and add more whiskey for a stronger flavor, or a little apple juice for a more apple-flavored version.
